Adaptive Transit empowers users with complete control to route and filter their traffic according to specific requirements, while NL-ix Transit is a fully managed service.

Adaptive Transit
Adaptive Transit offers both the quality of pan-European Peering and the global reach of IP Transit, delivered over two separate VLANs on a single port.
Traffic routes can be controlled by using the NL-ix Route Server Configurator (Peering) or BGP communities for Peering and Transit.

NL-ix Transit
NL-ix Transit is the latest addition to the NL-ix family and offers a ’Plug-and-Play’ service that combines the routes of Peering and Transit together into a single routing table, resulting in optimal routes.
As NL-ix pre-configures the routes, it saves the trouble of difficult BGP configuration.
