iunxi's Growth Strategy
and Partnership with NL-ix
iunxi (written with a lowercase letter i) recently made headlines by announcing a new partnership with DataMobility and Infield ICT to help shape its growth strategy. This development, celebrated with a cheerful new logo, marks an exciting chapter for the Almere-based company. For iunxi, the partnership with Infield has deepened the Cloud Connect managed service provision (delivering and managing secure networks and cloud infrastructure) they are able to deliver their customers.
Due to the long-term relationship between iunxi and NL-ix as well as their new collaboration, we thought it was a great reason to drop by with a cake and celebrate the long collaboration between both parties. We met with Peter Lisseveld, Solution Consultant and Architect at iunxi to understand what this acquisition means for the company and their future services.
iunxi has always been dedicated to building secure customer networks, and this focus remains unchanged. However, two recent strategic partnerships aims to broaden iunxi's service offerings. For instance, while iunxi has always provided connections to the cloud, with the partnership of Infield ICT it now has the capability to also assist with Cloud setup and Cloud management, a specialised service that enhances our portfolio.
With its Cloud Connect proposition, NL-ix fits in nicely with the expansion of the possibilities now offered by iunxi. Where previously service provision stopped at the gateway to the cloud, the entire range of managed cloud services can now be offered. One standout feature here is NL-ix's B-fabric, providing unique solutions that Iunxi can offer its customers for more resilience and dedicated paths to cloud services.
NL-ix isn't just about connectivity. They collaborate with us to find solutions and leverage their network beyond the typical Internet Exchange functions. Their B-fabric is particularly impressive and beneficial for our customers

Partnership Iunxi and NL-ix
iunxi’s relationship with NL-ix dates back to 2007, when they sought to connect a second Internet Exchange (IX) for backup and to ensure optimal traffic distribution. Over time, this partnership expanded with more services under which Anti-DDoS Clean-IX from Nawas and Transport services.
For iunxi, NL-ix stands out as more than just a connectivity partner. NL-ix is seen as a reliable and high-quality partner, providing innovative solutions and utilizing their network beyond the typical internet exchange functions. And with the recent expansion into cloud connectivity, Iunxi sees significant potential for further collaboration with NL-ix.
